Medley had humble beginnings in 1941, founded by Joe Medley & his wife Francis as the Joe Medley Scale Co. The original location was 609 N Hudson, Oklahoma City. We moved into the Material Handling field over the years and our name was changed to Medley Material Handling Co., which more closely represented our type of business. In 1956, Medley began a long-lasting relationship with Yale, representing the Automatic Lift Truck division which subsequently was merged into the Yale Lift Truck of today.

Tulsa, OK
Parts, Rental, Services, and Sales have grown so large it makes sense for two Oklahoma locations to help manage the territory.
EL Paso, TX
10 years since becoming the exclusive Yale Lift Truck Dealer in OK, business is booming and so is the oilfield. El Paso becomes our 4th location.
OKC New Location
Oklahoma City breaks ground on their new location that will become OKC Branch, Corporate Offices and Medley Customer Experience Center and Employee Training Center.
Albuquerque, NM
Albuquerque NM makes location 5 and state 3!
Odessa, TX
With the oilfield booming in West Texas, it makes sense to open Midland-Odessa.
Lubbock, TX
Lubbock makes number 6, closing the 6 hour gap between Amarillo and Midland Odessa.
Carlsbad, NM
Oilfield rentals are still going strong making Carlsbad Rental Central.
Hyster Lift Truck Dealer
Medley begins partnership with Hyster, now representing Missouri.
Gammon Acquisition
Medley acquires all assets of Gammon Equipment Company, Inc. on January 2, 2020. and continues operations from all of Gammon branches.
Briggs Acquisition
Medley acquires Hyster Arkansas expanding our territory across 13 locations across 6 states.
Hyster DOD | Yale DOE
Medley is awarded both the Hyster Dealer of Distinction and Yale Dealer of Excellence awards separately. Recognizing our ability to meet rigorous business practice standards and performance criteria.
Customer Experience and Employee Training Center
May 2022, Medley Customer Experience and Employee Training Center opens providing a "try before you buy" experience for our customers and an in-house education journey for each and every Medley Employee.
Medley Motive Power Company
Medley Acquires Midwest Motive Power, a local battery supply company opening the door for in-house battery sales, maintenance, and service in OKC.
Dock & Door Installation and Service
Albuquerque launches their Loading dock and Commercial Door maintenance and installation service modeling after our very successful program in El Paso.
